Soya Doc is known by many different names like soyabean oil cake, soya bean meal and soyabean oil meal. Soybean meal is used mainly as animal feed as it contains high protein content that can be up to 48% crude protein.
Soybean meal is used as animal food, basically as a high source of protein supplement but also as a major source of metabolizable energy. It is a fairly consistent feed ingredient extensively used to feed poultry and livestock animals like cattle, horses, pigs, fish, and sheep. It is used as a protein supplement in dairy rations and is typically traded on the grounds of protein content. Most of the soybean meal is produced as a residue after oil extraction, which is mostly used in food, industrial oils, soaps, and biodiesels. Soya Doc is a high protein ingredient for livestock feed producers.
