Pulses

Pulses are dried and edible seeds of legume plants. They grow in pods and are available with nature in various shapes, sizes and colours. They are harvested solely as dry grains, thereby separating them from other vegetable crops that are harvested while still green.

We deal in: Pigeon Pea (also known as Arhar / Tur), Chickpeas (aka Garbanzo Beans), Green Peas, Urad Dal (aka Black Gram), Masoor Dal (aka Red Lentis) and Green Gram (aka Mung Bean).

These are a great source of protein and fibre, as well as vitamins and minerals, such as iron, zinc, folate, and magnesium. While being high in proteins, complex carbohydrates and fibres, they are low in fats, which is why you feel full without straining your stomach.
